Capital Investment Immigration Plan (CIIP)

Status: Active — Limited Quota

CIIP was relaunched in May 2025 after a 100-day government regulatory review. A limited quota of 100 applications is available. Part of the investment is returned after approximately 5 years, reducing the effective net cost.

Important: Vanuatu passport holders do not have visa-free access to the Schengen area. The EU Council permanently removed this exemption on 12 December 2024 (effective 4 February 2025). The 90+ visa-free countries figure reflects current access excluding Schengen/EU.
